Hi.
If it's of any interest i've got a Suzuki DR600 Djebel (1990) which will be up for sale in the next couple of weeks.It's an Italian import(one reason why it's in as good a condition as it is-no winter salt on the roads.I'll be registering it for UK plate).It's covered 13,000 miles,has quite a large tank(over 25 litres i think),and a very strong rear luggage rack.
Bad points are;
there's a small mounting lug broken off the right-hand plastic sidepannel(does'nt effect the security of the pannel,almost not noticable),and.....that's it!
I've recently completely stripped and re-painted the frame and bolt-on bits(faded/chipped paint),and the engine has had a complete service and new clutch fitted.Chain is new,sprockets are very good.Exhaust is original and very good.Both tyres are usable for a little while(will pass the roadworthyness test(MOT)),though i will fit a pair of new Avon Distanzia's for £100 on top of the asking price if requested.I'll be offering it for £1000 as it is with the tyres it has on now.I can email you photos of it if you PM me your email address.As far as i know there's nothing to stop it doing a tour of europe/anywhere right now.
Jon.

Is it a kick start or electric? I bought one in the states last year 6 years newer for $600 USD in perfect condition, but that was a steal. Still, more than I am looking to spend I think.

I would be interested in a private party rental maybe. I could spent $500 USD to rent for the 3 weeks, less is better. I know that is about 1/3 what a new bike would rent for, but I am not looking for anything grand. A single, or twin maybe between 250-650cc. Older is fine.

It's a kickstart.Took it for a quick test yesterday and don't know if i want to sell it now,it's a lot better than i thought.Think i'll put a pair of enduro tryes on and keep it for trail-riding.

openear - your mail is bouncing, you've exceeded your disk quota on your address. Please change your address in your profile or delete some of your mail - you're probably losing other mail too!

I have a friend who has an old but servicable Honda Dominator for sale in London not sure how much he wants but I would have thought less than £1000 and he may be intereseted in some sort of buy back option
