I'm currently in southern mexico (san cristobal) and have been looking around this area and guatemala for a bike, but choices are few and the prices prohibitive.

I would like to buy a bike here to head south and then possibly back up to san francisco, or fly to south america, buy one there and ride to the states.

is there a market for motorcycles of people who are finishing their journey in south america and want to fly home?
