Wanted F800GS UK Midlands
Hi all,

I am nearly decided on buying a new F800GS, but thought I would see if anyone was thinking of selling theirs. preference white with ABS.
Please PM me details if you have or know of a good one for sale.

Hi
I have got one, but I live in guildford,
Its white 2011 with all extras: akrapovic pipe, abs, computer, led indicators, aluminiup panniers, touratech handguards with extenders, MRA screen, touratech hedlight protection, aluminium engine guard, central stand, k&n air filter, touratech tankbag, heated grips, one year manufactory warranty, full service history, been last serviced 800miles ago

Maybe he does not like it? I've thought about selling my 2011 Tenere but like it too much....

I have my Tenere for sale, its not only cheaper than the 800 but very similar in every way and better in some.

I have ridden both bikes and the differences are small. Buy a cheaper bike and use the money saved for a proper adventure

Er, I don't think so. I own a Tenere and have test ridden an F800GS and the differences are vast. The 800 is a better bike in every way - when it works, which is why I own a Tenere.

I didnt find the two bikes to be very different, power handling etc seemed very similar, yeah there was slightly more top end speed but not a great deal maybe 10mph at the top end and It didnt get there much quicker, I actually prefer the way the Ten rides and yes I also own a Ten because of the better reliability, my friend has the beemer and its been plauged with minor and major faults, his chain broke twice within the first 6 months. We are both smililar riders and he has never got away from me infact the Tenere seems to corner with far less effort than the beemer not sure why it just does.

Even if the beemer was more reliable I wouldn't swap because I feel the differences are too close.

Hey we are all entitled to our opinions. I don't want to get into a yours is better than mine argument as its quite clear to me we both chose the best bikes as we picked the Tenere.

Its not like I am saying My Tenere and a Ducati Multistrada ride similar.

Fact is the Yamaha goes much further on a full tank of fuel (The real world mpg is similar but the Yamaha carries an extra 7 litres of fuel. The running costs are less. Just look at the cost of tyres !

and if you really need ABS you can get that too on the later bikes.
