I'm looking for a DR650 in good condition (pref post '96) in the Melbourne area (or at least registered in Victoria).

Hey Mike
Id like to sell my DR 650. Its a 1991 model Sp 44. Its in a very good Condition and its located in Halls Gap near Ararat....thats probably 200 km north west of Melbourne. Its got a total engine rebuild with new gearbox etc.... also new sprockets and Chain. But its not registered anymore. shouldnt be a problem to get the road worthy certificate for it. If you have any requests just e mail me: stefanhoffmeister@gmx.net If you would take it you get all the staff like a pair of seaddlebags, tent., air matress.... many tools and a couple of spare parts as welll. greetings.... I'm in Melbourne now and while following up a few leads, thought I'd just repost in case someone has a nice DR650 in Victoria. There aren't that many in Victoria that have rego and roadworthy unfortunately.

Have you looked at the price of a new bikes in the area, when i bought mine last year i found that there was not much difference in price from secound hand and new or try on the outpost site there are a few bargins on there. Have fun Skip

I've now got myself an 06 DR with only 4000kms, it's a nice clean bike but my God the seat kills yer arse! I feel an Corbin and a large IMS tank coming on.
