Wanted: BMW F650 in Cape Town March/April 2008
Hi,

I'm heading to SA sometime in March/April (travel dates are currently flexible) and planning to ride north to London via the western route.

I'm looking to purchase a bike in SA to sell in London when done to skip the hassle and cost of shipping.

I'm open to different bikes and/or different countries of registration.

Please let me know if you've got anything interesting - thanks!

I have build an HPN for someone in the UK to travel up through Africa starting in Cape Town. You can check it all on this site - TransAfrica - Diary
If you want I can source the right bike for you. It might cost a bit more but you will have the ease of mind that having a third party with your interest at hart and you will get a bike that will be good value and in the right condition for a trip through Africa. The G/S Workshop can also provide you with any accessory and extras to help set up the bike for the trip.

Just arrived from the UK on a Triumph Tiger down the west coast and looking to sell or ship back. If you want comfy let me know, I'll be in Cape Town until Saturday March 15.

Hey mate, didn't know you had that web site. Very nice indeed! But then I don't think you had it when we just missed each other in CT beginning of 2006.


@ Matt, you might also check out the BMW site iin ZA: BMW-Motorrad South Africa
They've also got small ads on used bikes.
