I am going to South America at the end of September. I am flexible concerning arrival place - depends on the price of the flight and on a possibility to buy a bike.

I am going to travel with my wife - it will be a honeymoon - so I was considering different possibilities - two smaller bikes, or one bigger that would be able to carry us and our stuff (e.g. Africa Twin) or even an ATV.

Please let me know if you plan to finish your trip in september and we will see if we can make a good deal.

Probably I want to buy a little bit older bike - an "almost a new one" '08 would be still expensive for me - unfortunately.

We are planning to be in Brasil around that time and have an Africa Twin for sale. We are currently in Ecuador and don't have an exact date of returning to Brasil or Argentina.

The bike is in good condition with 100000 kilometers on the clock, I bought the bike new 2003. It is a 2000 model registered in South Africa. It has a 42 litre tank, crash bars and Hepco and Becker side paniers slightly modified to carry 4 extra litres of water with additional reinforcing for the panier brackets.

We have done 40 000km two up in the last year and have been completely satisfied. We have had minor problems such as the fuel pump (replaced) and steering bearings (replaced).

I just wanted to let you know we are going to prepare for our trip more seriously. So we still miss the bike. Anyone wanting to sell a bike capable to take two people across South America? Starting in this October?
