wanted bike in iran
Hi there,
I'm looking for one or two motorbikes in Iran. somewhere between april and december. Or anything for rent. looking forward to any replies! greetings, Roland (The netherlands)

You should clarify that:
Large bike were allegedly outlawed after the 1979 revolution when they were used as missiles. I would be very pessimistic about finding any bikes for rent in Iran (that would be worth riding). No one on a large bike is stopped from entering as a tourist. I have crossed on an 1150 as have numerous others. Two travellers entered Bandar Abbas from Sharjah last month on Ténérés.
