Thanks for your offer. My conversion shows 18mil Columbian to be around 10k USD, which is quite a bit more than I'm looking to spend. Good luck with selling though.

I should also mention I intend to buy US plated bike

Still looking for a bike. I'm not fixated on Columbia. As long as it's relatively in the north of South America but south of the Darrien Gap, you should contact me!

Hi Jacob. I've a bike for sale in Ecuador if you want. It's an enduro-type cheap chinese one from the famous manufacturer QinQi...It's a 200cc bike composed of several used parts but has a new engine. I've done around 2000 km on it so far and I could get it somewhere near the Columbian border for you if you want. It has Ecuadorian plates and comes complete with the obligatory vest and papers. Looking to sell for around 1500 dollars. Let me know if your interested; I can send you more details.

Bmw f650

Hi,

Ive got a 97 BMW F650 for sale in Central America. I could ride it to Panama if you want, then you would have to get it to Colombia. I could help you get it to Cartagena because that is what I originally planned. I am running out of money and I need to sell my bike. It made it from Seattle with zero problems. Good mileage and oil is clear and clean, great touring bike.

New chain and sprockets before I left, new brake pads, lots of tread left, new fork seals, carb rebuild. 40,000 miles.

let me know

If I dont fine a buyer soon I will ride to Colombia. I will raising the price slightly once I hit SA because of the Darien gap but it will still be cheap. I am almost in Guatemala right now.

I've got a friend with a KLR just outside of Limon (Costa Rica). It's not pristine, but it's definitely several steps above the usual local bikes. Jake's getting on in years (don't tell him I mentioned that) and has bought a smaller bike therefore seldom rides the KLR any more. It's plated and registered there, and he's looking to sell. PM me if interested and I'll put you in touch.

I should add that one standard stop in Colombia is at Mike's Casablanca Hostel in Cali. He's usually got a bike or three wanting buyers, or he'll at least know of some. Google and email him.

Mark
