Wanted: Bike in Chile/Argentina in Dec or Jan

Hi all,

I would like to purchase a bike in Chile or Argentina at the end of this year, possibly as early as November. The bike will preferably be off-road capable, something similar to a KLR650, DR650, DRZ400 would be perfect.

Cheers,
Adam

08 KLR 650 with Caribou Luggage FOR SALE NOV

Hi

My '08 KLR650, with Caribou luggage (2 x 36 litre), will likely be for sale around the beginning of November. However, I doubt I'll have made it to Chile in time. Instead, I've estimated I'll have reached Lima, Peru. Would this work for you?

Photos, price etc will be uploaded shortly.

Regards,

Alex

Hi Alex, unfortunately last week I purchased a ticket to arrive in Santiago, Chile on the 10th of December. Would this be enough time for you to get there? I will wait for a while too as I don't mind staying in Chile to learn Spanish for a couple of weeks.

Hi, I am planning to finish my trip in Buenos Aires or near there in January. I am thinking of selling my German registered KTM Military (check the KTM section for infos) then. Might be a bit too late for you, but let me know if you are interested.

Hi PeerG,
The $AUD has plummeted 39% during the previous 4 months so I assume that would be out of my price range but how much are you selling it for?

My KLR is for sale now

I had to leave my freshly prepared KLR 650 in Valpo a couple of months ago and now, because of family medical stuff, I won't be able to get back to Chile so I'm putting it up for sale. It's totally ready to go. If you're interested in more info, I'm davidwi -at- sonic.net. A 2001, 19,000 miles, LOTS of extras, excellent condition.
