Wanted - 1200GS/1150 Adventure in Sunshine Coast Australia

Hi,

I'm looking for a 1200GS Adventure preferably or an 1150 GS Adventure if the 1200 proves too elusive. It must have less than 25,000km and be properly maintained and in very good condition.

The bike must have ABS fitted and ideally some decent aluminium panniers/tank bag etc, however ABS is the only critical addition as I can arrange the rest when I arrive in Brisbane on 5th August 2007.

The purchase price is not too critical as long as it is sensible BUT should enable me to sell the bike in Australia 6-7months later without loosing too much if I keep it well maintained. Ideally I'd like to find one in Brisbane but would consider travelling anywhere on the East coast as far as Sydney.

This is a serious request. I have been travelling around the world for the past 2 years and Australia/New Zealand represents the last leg of my trip. For those of you interested you can follow these travels with my friend John at Mike & John's Explorations

Regards,

Mike Giles

Hi Guys,

Best of luck with your Australia & New Zealand adventure. I can only suggest Motorbikes For Sale – Search New & Used Motorbikes For Sale – BikePoint Australia and Used Motorcycle For Sale - Buy and Sell Used Motorcycles Australia - bikesales.com.au also the bikes advertised are usually only a fraction of whats on the showroom floor, could highly recommend just phoning around the BMW dealers when you get here.

If I see or hear of anything I'll be sure to PM you.

Cheers,
Dave

You could try the BM Workshop (If they are still around, its been 6 years since I was there). Chris used to carry a good range of 2nd hand bikes and could possibly find what you were looking for with enough notice.
