Any tips for traveling in S.E. Asia generally- quite lioke to hit some nice mountains to ride in!

Also looking for second hand DT125 in London?

How long are you going for? rentals are pretty cheap, and you can usually do a good deal for longer terms. Chiang Mai is a great base for access to the north (mountains). There is good info on riding in Thailand on www.gt-rider.com
Cheers..

Hello.
I agree with Cameron, start out in Chaing Mai. You'll find a motorcycle shop in the inner city that deals with used bikes, although i think you'll have a very hard time finding anything over 250cc. Motorbikes over 125cc have enormous import duties, so most are smuggled in as parts and assembled. This was my experience in 2001, but i did find an excellent XLR250 which i used for 2 months and sold before i left. Paid and sold for $1300usd. Good luck!
