Any interest in an almost mint Yamaha WR250R. I had big plans for this bike, lightweight adventure tourer, some off road stuff, but basically I road it home last year from the previous owner near Bournemouth, used it a couple of times to commute to work (all dry days) cleaned it, did an oil change, ACF 50'd it and thats about it. A vastly underrated bike, will cruise at 80 easily and do 80mpg, low maintenance, reliable. You can get luggage racks for it, large tank etc, if you look at Yamaha WR250R Mega Thread - ADVrider you can find enough information to keep you busy for days. Only because I'm trying to be realistic about the fact that I'm not likely to be doing anything with it in the near and probably distant future. Selling for a bargain £3000, which is a lot less than I paid for it. Probably going to regret if it does sell, can deliver, but will be riding it, as I sold my trailer last weekend. Supplied by Colin Appleyard and first service on 7/4/09 at 604 miles.
When I bought it last year had 904 miles, I did an oil/filter change.
Taxed until 2013, only £26 for year I think it was, another advantage for a small engine.
It is very clean, I dont think it had been used off road, there are none of the usual off roading signs scrapes, has pristine rims, original tyres
First MOT is due, like the sad man I am, have been waiting for a dry day, so I dont get it dirty!!!
Obviously will come with a new MOT
