Two Yamaha XT 225 (Serows) for sale in Dakar, Senegal - April 2011
We're about to depart from Benin to traverse West Africa on our two Serows - check out PULAKU | the fulani photo-documentary project for more info.
When we arrive in Senegal, we're planning on selling both bikes. If you'd like to travel in West Africa, this is the perfect opportunity to get two adventure-ready enduro bikes. Both bikes are from the early 1990's. 225cc in excellent condition. We've had them completely rebuilt for this trip, and we'll be taking immaculate care during the journey. Both bikes are equiped with custom-made luggage racks (front and rear) and saddle bags. We've got virtually every replacement part on hand, and we'll be selling with all the parts that remain when we arrive in Senegal. Price will be around $4000 for both bikes, negotiable. Although we're a few months out, I'm posting the bikes already because it would be great to have a buyer lined up. Also, this could enable you to plan your own West African adventure on these bikes.
