Transalp 600 (2-UP prep'd) UK Registered - Buenos Aires in March

We are due to finish our trip in March in Buenos Aires and are considering selling our beloved Transalp instead of flying it home to the UK.

The bike runs brilliantly and has not missed a beat. It will have approximately 55,000kms (34,000miles) on the clock when the trip has finished (barely run-in for a Transalp)

It's setup for 2-up touring with the Autocom system and uprated suspension and it'll tour comfortably all day fully loaded.

Bike details:

1987 Honda Transalp 600V
UK Registered
12V Marine Socket
2nd Rear Running/Brake Light
Autocom Logic Intercom (hardwired to Garmin Mount)
Braided Hose
Cameltoe
Centre Stand
Custom Seat with Gel Inserts
Custom Stainless Steel Toolbox
Gel Battery
Givi Rack & Topbox (holds two full size flip-top helmets)
Handguards
Hawk Front Disc and Lenac Adaptor
Hagon Monoshock (custom designed for pillion and luggage)
Headlight Guard
Hepco & Becker Pannier Rack
HID Headlight Upgrade
Laser ProDuro
LED Bulbs All Round
LED Powerful Spotlights
Oxford Hotgrips
Progressive Fork Springs
Scottoiler
Second Fusebox with Relay
Stebel Nautilus Compact Horn
SW Motech Bash Plate
SW Motech Crash Bars
SW Motech Touring Footpegs (can be adjusted)
ToolTube With Fuel Cannister
Touratech Locking Garmin 660 Mount
Touring Flip Screen

As you can see, it has had a lot of time and money spent on this bike. It'll go anywhere and keeps up with bigger bikes no problem even when loaded.

The side boxes are not included but the Givi Monokey topbox is.

Loads of spares and tools supplied including new CDI unit. Currently carrying new DID X-Ring Chain and Sprocket kit but it maybe fitted before the end of the trip if necessary.

I've done all of maintenance myself and all bearings/seals were checked or replaced at the start of the trip and servicing is done on time or before it is required.

The engine is strong as you would expect, has no leaks and only uses a small amount of oil if used at prolonged highway speeds. (I have just finished a 1L container of semi-synthetic oil while riding for 2 months and 5 countries later in South America)

I'll throw in two HJC fliptop helmets (1 x Medium 1 x Small) with Autocom headsets for the asking price (can be removed and refitted into new helmets) and have 2 new spare microphones for the new owner.

Please contact me if you need any other info. US$2750

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events (22 this year!); we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, the HUBB or to receive the e-zine. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
