Suzuki DR250 in Santiago
Yes - it's a 250cc!
And yes - it's in good condition ..... you can travel on 250cc's (I did 3 months on it to Ushuaia and back from Stgo)!
And it's a hell of a lot cheaper than shipping your bike (from most countries).
Compression, tyres, suspension, lights, emissions, body etc in great condition. Has extra reinforced rack on rear and was well maintained (only 7000km done in 3 mths of travel).
Parts are easy to get, and cheaper too!
95KmHr = 22Km per L
80KmHr = 28Km per L
Have all relevant Chilean documentation (rego etc).
Will be in Santiago, Chile from 15 Feb until 22 Feb.
$US1200 - just think of what else you can spend your money on! Besides, why follow the crowd and travel on 600cc's or more? 250cc's is an ADVENTURE!
.... and you can get up a hell of a lot more mountain tracks and to remote fishing sites than any 200+Kg BMW could ever reach!
