For that potential lucky person that can take this opportunity:
I drove my Colombian motorbike to Santiago, after a great 2 months of driving and peaking with my 6 days ´Dakar´ getting from Bolivia to Chile.
Now in Santiago, I feel tired of all those rides, mechanic stops and miss my travel with only my little backpack.
The fact that I completed the 4 best countries for this bike (it is little and does not like the highways of the more devoloped countries has encouraged me to end this part of my trip.
Anyway, too keep it short.
I cannot import/sell this bike in Chile; if Chilean the bike is worth about $3000. My next countries on the list have the same problem.
What I offer:
-A Yamaha 225 XT fourstroke enduro motorbike of 2002
-Complete new electrical system (cdi, estator, regulador, battery, cables etc..)
-New piston, camchain, valves.
-Official papers of Yamaha concerning all repairs and new parts (!)
-Help with the paperwork to get going legaly.
-Contacts for SELLING the bike easy and with local help in Bogota, Colombia (origin of the bike) (
-Helmet, gloves, full protection (bodyarmor Fox), everything is for sale.
-Knowledge (routes, tips, contacts and more)
For $2500 or less, depending on state of bike and what you don´t want to take over. (selling it for $2000 possibly
Needless to say, the bike is totaly ready for it as it has already done the trip before. I am the official owner of the bike and am in posession of all needed papers. With good support from Bogota of the family living on my ´colombian adress´ paperwork/selling should be no problem.
To keep is short, this is the message I would be DREAMING off as it was long hard work finding the right bike, getting the paperwork and getting me and the bike actually ready for this kind of trip.
Questions? Ask them on this grouppost.
other startingpoints are possible as I do not mind some more driving

welcome to the HUBB. Please make clear here on the forum, that you sell and buy used cars and bikes - and bike gear - in BsAs. And that you are not a lonely traveller selling his bike/or buying somebodies bike.
Thank you again for the asado in June, when I had to wait for my flight, but I am still upset about your friend overcharging us, the stupid gringos, Maciek and me.
I know this thread is pretty old and all, but did you ever end up selling the bike? If you're still around I may be interested. You can either PM me, post here, or hit up my Chilean cell: +56 9-73825487. Thanks!
