Hi to all current and budding HUs

Ok, the time has come ... i am selling the trusty old XT 250 that has been lots of places and will go to many more.

As far as i know i am the second owner, the first being a farmer i bought it off ten years ago. The XT has been to Asia, has been across Australia from Darwin to Hobart and back and has traveled through every state and Territory except WA. Well maintained, has custom built rack with footpegs on rack (your pillion will appreciate this) and a magnetic tank bag (yes the tank is steel) and two saddle bags and a rear rackbag that needs the zip to be fixed.

Great first bike ... and great bike to travel through Asia on ... 250 is a big bike in Asia. Comfy seat and will even take two ... O-ring chain and sprocket in good condition and geared for load and traveling speed. Sits on a 110km (but the speedo doesn't work ... don't tell the rego people) has 4 months rego in NT Australia.

Going price is $2,200.00 or ONO for the lot ... ready to ride and great for adventures. I'll even through in a few extra fuel containers and some camping gear.

Ohhh the only reason i am selling is because i'm buying Tenere 660 and can't justify having two bikes ... can only ride one at a time.

So if you have a taste for adventure and need a smallish bike then this is a classic ... after all it was the XTs that started the whole RTW touring tradition.
