My R100GS Paris Dakar for sale, I bought it last year as an import from Germany with 64,000km's on the clock. One previous owner who had it for 14 years and was used a summer bike only for touring around Germany mainly.

Since then, I've done just over 2,000 km's on it only. The bike is in A1 condition with just over £2,200 spent on it by me and the MOT has just been renewed at the weekend.

The work that I've had done on it has been carried out by Cray Engineering in Sittingbourne, Kent - with a bill of just over £1,200 about six months ago. This bill has been for:

Full major service
Braided Steel Brake Hoses
Renewing of various rubber bits & pieces
New speedo lights
Fitting of an HID Kit
New UK Spec Headlight Unit

In addition to this, the bike has a brand new Corbin Dual Seat, Metal Mule Pannier Frames fitted (bike is NOT being sold with the Metal Mule Panniers), HID Light (drawing only 35 watts, but putting out an equivalent to 100 watts), Touratech hand guards and an Ultimate Source Screen. It is also wired up to the ignition for a 26/27/28 series Garmin Sat Nav - no cradle however. Oh and also a set of bar risers.

I also have the original panniers along with the frames to go with the bike and the original seat.

The bike runs as sweet as can be and is in excellent condition, having never been used in the winter and garaged all it's life.

I've tried to keep it as near to original as possible and haven't made any major changes from standard.

That looks a real beaut, if it was not for my 'kalahari' I'd be visiting you with a 'fist full of pounds'. May I just ask one question, Does the kickstart spin the engine over quick enough to start it, if so, does the kicker start it whether the engine is either hot or cold??

I've never tried to kick start it myself although I do recall a meet that I went to last year where 5 owners did give it a go on their own bikes wth no success...!

I am looking to get hold of a set of metal mule pannier rails to go on my PD side car out fit.
I am trying to get the PD ready for a trip through Russia and then down the Americas. So any money which I can save helps make the trip a little longer in time.
I already have the boxes from my old 640 so would you be willing to sell me the rails only?

Well what do you know, you have the makings of an auction with the interest shown here; it would be interesting to see your bike on ebay with national, and international, exposure to find out what money will follow.
A starting price or reserve of £3500 would be appropriate?
