For Sale: His & Hers DRZ400's - Surrey, UK

My wife and I started to kit out 2 DRZ400SM's to ride from London to Sydney a few years ago, but plans have changed and we are taking a Landcruiser over now. We still have the DRZ's that are for sale now. We chose DRZ's as they are reasonably light, and would be easier to handle off-road than some of the heavier alternatives.

The first one:

2006 DRZ400
3200 miles
Taxed and tested until July 2013

Rental fatbars with protector
Clarke tank 3.9 gallon
Acerbis hand guards
Goodridge braided hoses
Wavy discs
CRD frame and sump guards
Unabiker radiator guards
Sports rack
Tail tidy & LED rear light

Manual can chain tensioner
FCR39 flatslide carb
E model cams
Athena 434cc big bore kit
FMF power bomb header and FMF can
EGR removed & blanked off
K&N air filter
Setup on dyno by Steve Jordan

This one got the engine work because I'm a little heavier than my other half (its all muscle...).

The second one is very similar but has the stock carb and no engine work. This one has had a recent complete engine rebuild (by Steve Jordan). We have a cut down (lowered) spare seat for this one.

2006 DRZ400SM
10900 miles
Taxed & tested until August 2013

• Full Yoshi system
• Dynojet Stage 2
• Larger Clarke 3.9 gallon tank (c. 16L) - plus original
• K&N Fiter
• Renthal Gold bars & crash pad
• Zeta brake/clutch levers
• Tail tidy
• Braided brake hoses
• Manual cam chain tensioner
• Conti Force tyres - with plenty of life left
• Luggage rack
• Alpha Dot
• CRD Bash plate
• Acerbis Handguards
• Unabiker Radiator guards
• Engine case & frame protectors

They are both on supermoto wheels at the moment. I have one set of very good offroad wheels, and a another set that needs to be refurbed. I also have a lot of the original parts as well as an assortment of extras (including spare levers, clutch cable, etc).

I would like to get £4k for the whole lot. So if you and your partner are looking for a pair of bikes, give me a shout.

Both bikes are the SM version - the difference to the S version is the wheels and the forks (the SM has slightly better USD forks off the RM - which is why I chose the SM over the S version).

This is the first one with the motor work and carb (and needs a wash...).

This is an earlier pic with the offroad wheels (that need a refurb) before I fitted the Goodridge hoses.

And this is the second one.

I added some more info to the original post. I would consider selling separately if someone made me an offer, but I would prefer to sell everything in one go though and think I have priced to reflect this.

Just to clarify, the motor work on the first bike was done by myself. The work was done to a very high standard as I had planned on riding the bike all the way to Australia and I wasn't planning on breaking down anywhere.

The first bike will also have a brand new Yuasa battery in (bought today), and the other one had a new Yuasa battery about 2 months ago.

I know its a long shot, but your not interested in a swap for an er6n? Posted earlier on in this part of the HUBB.

The reason I want a DRZ is to ride to Australia from the UK. As you had planned too.

Thanks
