FOR SALE: DR 650SE 2001 Cape Town

The bike is in very good condition. 30900km with full service history. Used it as one of my fleet bikes to hire out and therefore it did the vast majority of the mileage on long distances, no commuting and no offroad abuse.
Tires, brakes, chain and sprockets are all in good condition, some items new or almost new. The 30000km service was just done.
The suspensions are on the low setting making the very light (147 kg) bike a capable dirt road companion for shorter riders (my wife is 1.67 and she's fine with it). I will change it back to high at no extra cost if required.

The bike is obviously registered and licensed in South Africa.

For overseas buyers: You can tour SA, NAM, ZIM, ZAM, SWAZILAND, MOZ and LESOTHO without having to purchase a carnet de passage. Registration for foreigners is easy and cheap.

I DO offer a buyback arrangement if required.

Price ZAR 29800

Lecap--I'm in KZN--please give me a call

Hi "Lecap."

I'm interested in the bike. (You replied to my post about my CTX200.)

Please ring me at 072.069.0917, even if you've already sold this one. I'm interested to hear your thoughts on buying here, and if you might have something come available in the future.

Concerns about the DR are tank size (would prefer the KLR there), and seat height--do you know that spec?

Adam
