For sale BMW R80GS. Mint condition. Paris-France Price 3500Euro obo
Fully equipped BMW R80 GS (red) for sale.
Built 1992, 2nd owner (I bought it with 12km and it now has 60Km) German maintained, Wilbers shock, Bernd Tesch aluminum panniers and frame, oil cooler and extended oil pan (5+ liters), new tires and brake pads, new (improved) rotor, single and double seat, police siren, cruise control, Touratech windshield, hand protectors, on-board plug for electricity (charging cell phone, laptop, heated vest or grips, etc), brand new battery, alarm system, clock, heavy duty locks, Touratech tank bag, extensive & complete tool set and spare parts (worth at least 500Euro ) an ideal bike for someone planning a long overland trip. This bike has only been used for long trips and NEVER for short distance like inner city commuting and certainly not for any off-road riding. There are no oil or fluid leaks, not even minor drips or 'sweating'. (push rod seals have been replaced last summer). The bike is ready to go and needs absolutely no work. All oils have recently been changed, valves adjusted, etc. Mechanically the bike is in perfect condition. Optically, there are minor scratches next to the ignition key and also some minor paint loss under the side bags (from abrasion) but that is normal and can easily been corrected. To see pictures of this bike, please go to Flickr (see URL below) Flickr: Photos from andreas.brunglinghaus If you have a hard time seeing the pictures on Flickr, I can send them to you if you are interested. I have put a lot of money, time and care into maintaining this bike and would like to sell it to someone who will do the same. My price is 3500 Euro and I believe that it is worth every penny of it. Also, if interested, I have an Aerostich Darien Suit size M (Black) for sale and possibly two helmets. (one Shoei and one Nolan flip-up). But they are NOT included in the above listed price. I am selling this bike only reluctantly but after almost two summers+ of waiting for my broken ankle to heal I have now come to terms with the fact, that I will not be able to ride a heavy bike like this anymore! Contact me if you are interested and I can send you pictures and a full, detailed description. P.S. The bike is currently garaged in Paris (France) but has German plates and title Cheers, Andreas email: abrunglinghaus@hotmail.com or you may call me at 00.33.628.05.22.09 (mobile phone of my girl friend in Paris so don't be surprised if a woman answers) Last edited by andreasb; 4 Mar 2008 at 15:13.
