It has been rock solid for me and runs great. However, in our group of 5 KLR's, mine burned more oil than the others; but it's not a 2008 (known for burning oil) Previous owner told me he replaced the rings. No smoking from exhaust or significant leak though -- don't really know why. Needs new chain and rear sprocket. The Panniers, Seat and Exhaust alone run around US$1500 online. It has been ridden so of course it has character but nothing major (typical dings, scratches, and cracked hand guards). Dirt is included, but it can be washed if you prefer.

Asking Price: US$3700, negotiable. Have title; US sale preferred.

Now at 13800 miles and is being stored in Santiago, Chile. Stopped at bike shop and had new DID chain installed also knobby tire put on rear; it still could use new Rear sprocket though. Running great.
