Royal Enfield for sale: Pokhara, Nepal
2004 Enfield Bullet for sale in Pokhara, Nepal. 350cc 4 speed Bullet Electra. Cared for by Raju of Raju's Bullet Surgery, and he says "nothing wrong with this bike".
This was my first bike, and I'll be totally honest I did get in a head on collision at one point so it has been repaired from a crash. However the frame was not bent, so as far as I can tell all that means on this beast is that it has a brand new front end... I rode it plenty after it was back on the road. If you want luggage racks, I think I gave them to Raju but could probably convince him to give them back. Would like to get what I paid for it if possible, ~CDN$800. Comes with helmet, bunch of tools, new spare brake and clutch cables. Josh |

Three months too early
I hope, for your sake, that you sell it before march but I'll keep an eye on this thread incase it's still for sale when I arrive mid-march-ish.

Actually selling it before then is not a priority, as it is in the care of/being used by a friend who will be staying there until March. So yeah, no worries

OK let's update this a little.
This bike has an open offer to any reputable yet enterprising HUB members who want to use it. If you want a bike to ride from Nepal to Europe, this bike is yours to use for free. You can't keep it, and the only caveat is that you need to leave it somewhere where it will be safe and I can pick it up from. If you go this summer I can meet you somewhere. As an experienced overlander I realize that this is NOT an adventure to be taken lightly. But if there are any hardcores out there who want to try and do it on the cheap, here's some free wheels for you. Hah! |

Hang on...
Hang on just a minute here!
This is a win win deal no? you win cos someone else sorts the carnet and gets the bike to europe for you. (But then you have a bike in europe that is on a carnet and needs to go back to Nepal)? And the lucky aquaintance wins because they get a free bike to ride to europe and return to you.. They just have to sort the carnet? Or you are looking for some sneaky fella who can get it there without carnet? An interesting proposition...I'm still in Pokhara and though I have a bike I wouldn't mind talking... ![]() Is there a number I can use to contact your man in Pokhara? |

I'd like to think of it as win-win. I'm not sure what the deal is with Carnets... I guess I was thinking along the lines of 'sneaky fella'. I know there are threads on here about doing it, and I'd certainly be really stoked if someone could pull it off with my bike. I don't want anyone to get into it who doesn't really know what they're getting into though, because it could end badly for all I know.
My guy in Pokhara is leaving really soon, I may have him give the bike to someone else. The best way to talk to him is to swing by Frontiers Paragliding in the morning and ask for Claudio. |

Sell your Royal Enfield with Hearts & Tears, Pokhara
Hearts & Tears is Pokhara's famous motorcycle shop. We specialise in Royal Enfield motorcycles, and offer a FREE service to riders looking to sell their bike.
If you've got an Indian-registered Bullet for sale in Nepal, you can display it in our Lakeside showroom. We've always got customers looking for bikes. We can help you get the best price, quickly and with confidence. Leaving Nepal in a hurry? No problem, we can sell it for you and send you the money. We've had a 100% success rate over the last 5 years. Your bike must (a) have correct papers (b) be at a fair price (c) be in a "ride away" condition. If so, come and see us at the Busy Bee Cafe. We are also looking for Nepali-registered bikes, especially 350cc and 500cc Classic models with the gear shifter on the right. Please note that Indian-registered bikes are basically limited to India and Nepal. If you're looking to ride home or around the world, you cannot get a Carnet de Passage for an Indian-registered bike. You can get a Carnet for a Nepali-registered bike, but they cost 3-4 times as much to buy. Regards Rick |
