Royal Enfield 350 in Delhi before 18 Nov
I'm thinking about selling off my Enfield, although I am also thinking about shipping it back to the US. It's a 1996 350, Delhi plated, and is reliable. The Aussie I bought it from was planning on riding it to Turkey with his girlfriend and had the engine rebuilt with parts imported from the UK. I paid 35,000 rupees for it which was a bit much but I'm a sucker for sob stories*.
Make an offer. Has beat up saddle bags, a huge tank bag and some tools. I leave for Melbourne on the 18th but I'm open for selling it before then. I can store it in Delhi if you'll be showing up later. I'm thinking about keeping it since I rode it down from Kathmandu, but it's been passed tourist to tourist for years and it seems almost like I'd be robbing it of its essence. *They realized that they'd run out of fuel money before Istanbul and stuck around Kathmandu waiting to sell the bike for plane tickets to Istanbul. -Dave Last edited by Dave_Smith; 30 Oct 2008 at 11:55.
