Medellin, Colombia. Yamaha DT 125cc for sale
Hi everybody,
I'm now in the process of selling the bike I have used here for the last months to drive around colombia. Here is a small video compilation of the trip. Motorbiking Colombia Videocompilatie - YouTube The bike is in an excellent state, mostly because i have spared no cost in maintaining it. It has a new engine (rectified, new piston and cilinder) new brakes, new front suspension bar, new brake and clutch cables, repainted several parts of the frame, new tyres (extra broad rear tyre) etc etc. It has new tecnomecanica, insurance until august. I am selling the bike for 2.500.000 pesos, the price for which I have bought it, and spent about 600.000 on parts and labour which you get for free. I am in the process of selling it now so you have to be really quick. You will be able to sell this bike in a flash, since it is a very wanted bike, especially in medellin. The DT has the status of being the best bike you can find in colombia, thats also why I bought it. It has taken me everywhere, without ever letting me down. The bike has all the transit papers, and the great thing is that you don't have to register it in your name, since its in the name of a guy who never made sure the next buyer registered the bike correctly. So for the last 8 years or so the bike has been changing its owner without anybody ever registering the bike. The advantage of this is when you get caught by a speedcam, the bill is sent to the previous owner. I have been travelling for 2 months and been through many many police checks and never experienced any problem whatsoever. If you want to drive a motorbike in colombia, one of these bikes (which are very few) is your only option because you cannot register a motorbike without having a registered address, for which you need a working visum and a job etc. 3012079381 is my colombian phone number. Cheers Thomas |
