London: BMW F650 loaded.....

f650 in London, with acerbis tank (500km/300 mile range), 20,000ish miles, 97, huge givi top box. aluminium boxes. Has been garaged for 2.5 years. Needs to be restarted etc, but otherwise it has fresh tires (knobbly), chain, sprockets, etc and had a major service at the end of my last trip. I live in the US now, and have another bike here...

Kiwi.

Would you be interested in selling the alu boxes separately? If so, please drop me a mail. I live in Colchester so collection would not be a problem.

Cheers mate.

Sorry no - logistically a bit rough - one box is here in the US. It's worth it for me to take it to the UK (I have free tix) for selling the bike only..

The bike is still for sale. GBP 2500ish should do it.
Right now it is ...ahem... covered in pigeon droppings - but is (and has been for the last 3 years) stored inside a garage. I'm currently in DC, USA between trips (Alaska then SA) however the bike can still be viewed in London.

Hi Y_Kiwi:
I'm looking for an f650. I'm campaigning for UNICEF NZ as a volunteer ambassador. Dirk and I are going from Chile to Canada and then Alaska, Russia, etc., next year. I need a bike in Venezuela and British Airways could probably send yours to Caracas for free sponsoring us. I could hardly afford paying more than 3000 US$ as we're volunteering. If it was ok for you I would take your word that it is in good condition and have it sent as soon as possible.
You can check our web: www.2-mad.com

Please reply promptly.
Cheers, Mario

By the way Lance,

It's ok to leave your email address available to other posters - it is protected from spambots. Someone scavenging email addresses by hand could get it, but that's not likely.

We do NOT recommend putting an email address IN a post! That can be scavenged by a spambot.

ok - my cousin wants the bike out of his garage (far enough - it has been there a while) so it will be sold in the next week or three. Let me know if you are interested and I will send your details to him
