KTM 990s Adventure, Birmingham UK £6750
Sorry to have to say this, but its time for my baby to go to a new loving home.
It is a 2006 990 S Adventure, first registered in April. Taxed until April, MOT not due until April 2009. It has just over 8K miles on the clock, and is still being used (briefly). I am not looking to part-ex, as I am emmigrating to New Zealand. Pictures can be located here:- Picasa Web Albums - Chris - KTM The bike has a full KTM service history, all done from where the bike was purchased (AMS, Tewkesbury). All recalls and safety mods as far as im aware have been conducted. The bike itself is standard, with no modifications to the engine or suspension whatsoever. In addition to the sale of the bike, I include the following fantastic kit for overland touring:- H&B crash bars H&B pannier racks H&B gobi panniers H&B gobi 42L top box KTM heated grips KTM/Meta 357 TV2 alarm Data tag Touring scottoiler (well positioned behind number plate) Garmin zumo 500 with 2gb card, Europe V10, ram mount and hard-wiring into accessory power supply included. All of the accessory equipment is in top condition. I have two sets of keys for panniers, ignition, fobs for alarms, datatag microdot paint, all of the manuals and paperwork from KTM, full tool kit + extras that I have needed for myself and friends on rides. I have recently added a D908RR tyre to the rear of the bike, with the intention of replacing the scorpion on the front when it is due with a suitable offroad tyre. I am third owner, and I purchased it from a lady who had intended to ride it across Iceland, but found she was too short to control it well off road. Whilst in my possession, it has seen some very minor offroad, and was intended for a trip to Morocco and Norway, both of which never happened. Most of the miles I've put on it have been motorway miles. It was involved in a rear-end collision on 21st April this year. It has been professionally repaired and restored to as-new condition by my insurance company using KTM authorised repair centres - this required the replacement of rear wheel, swing arm, left hand pannier rail, left hand crash bar and hand guards. This bike is in IMMACULATE condition and rides perfectly. The pictures are testament to the condition of this machine, and were taken less than one month ago. As such, I'm looking for £6750. The bike is based in Birmingham, and for the right purchaser am willing to ride the bike to a destination of their choice, at 50p per mile from my home. All sales negotiation will be conducted in Birmingham. If you're interested I can be contacted on here via pm, or (preferrably) via email heroes.legend@gmail.com Thanks for looking. |
