KLR650 2005 for sale in Buenos Aires Argentina May 2010
Hi!
Kawasaki KLR 650 2005 I bought the motorbike in October in Colombia, now will finish my trip in six weeks in Buenos Aires. So the best day for sale is first week of May. The bike has a California plate and can be sold to any foreigner (sorry guys from South America), if you plan to use it for your trip and sell to another happy traveler. To change the ownership we will drive it to the border with Uruguay. About the bike: Actual mileage: around 53.000 Handle crash guards Corbin seat (really comfortable!) New battery, bought in Salta last week. New chain and sprockets, bought in Chile in January. Side protection Luggage rack (with soft side bags) Aluminum bash plate Center stand (very useful) Led tail-light with safety module (blinks super quick for a second when brake is initially squeezed) A lot of useful tools and spare parts. Spare tubes. Apart from it: Tires Pirelli MT60 bought in La Paz, probably you will want to buy new in Buenos Aires. New rear shock absorber - crashed one in Bolivia and have it imported from the US from Progressive Suspension. I am waiting for the part right now. It cost here in Argentina 1000 USD, I hope to save on importing from the US. I installed extra 12V cigarette socket, so I have power for my GPS, but I bought an air compressor you can use with the socket if you have a flat tyre. You will use it ![]() Additionally: motorcycle suits - we travel two up so the are two sets for man and women. Woman S/M man L/XL two helmets - Zeus ZS 3000, with flip-up part. We are looking for a new shields right now, or you will have to find them. tank bag, side panniers, special wooden plate at the back so you can mount your backpacks, two front side bags - made from two backpacks, but it works. disk lock alarm xena. I cannot remember of more now. If you cannot send messages on the hubb, you can use my email: michal.mochon@gmail.com the motorcycle has US plates so it is easy with the change of ownership. I bought the bike from a Dutch couple in Medellin, Colombia, who bought it from another traveller in Buenos Aires. I am courious about your response. Asking price: 3500 USD, but have to sell it anyway. Cheers Michal |
