Check Craigslist.org, its a good resource to find used bikes in a given area.
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/ I looked at the San Fran region and found 2 KLR's(04-05) and a 01 F650GS for $4700 |

Craigslist
I second the Craigslist.com advice. Note the Yamaha xt 600 with 1,400 miles asking price $1,400. There are a couple of other xt 600s as well

Klr 650
I have an 04 KLR 650 that I purchased from the dealer new in 3/05. It is in excellent condition, it's garaged, never been dirt ridden and has 3,500 miles on it. I live 1 hour south of San Fran. What would you be willing to pay for it? Funny enough I'm headed to New Zealand at the end of December. Kargraff@comcast.net
