In Scotland again

I have moved back to my homeland, I need to start looking for a bike.
I did have a Concours but now I am looking for a KLR 650.
I have been on the net all day and I cant find one for sale in Scotland.
Any help or leads would be appreciated.

Welcome home!

I don't think the KLR is an official import here so they'll be a bit thin on the ground. Plenty of XT600/660's though. Check out a motorcycle News and see what's about. Otherwise ebay is a start.

Hi B

Maybe better to find a more common bike? Makes spares etc easier.

Don't know where you are in Scotland, but a good run up over Rannoch Moor to Glencoe should set you up....

KLR 600/650 were official imports here for well over 10 years . There are some around but not that many as they stopped importing them around 1995. Biketrader and ebay will be your best bet i would say, also personally if you have your heart set on a KLR i would be prepared to travel for the right bike . Alturnitively allow £120 for a SPECIALIST delivery company to collect it for you from anywhere in the UK. Saves you time and possibly money?

I am so used to being in Texas, I have been to Glen Coe and Ranoch moor, and it felt small, I used to think it was a long way away, not any more.
