I Need a Bike in Ghana
I'm looking for a bike for another trip in Ghana in June 2010 - ideally something small and secondhand (Chinese?) that I can sell on after a few weeks' use.
If you have experience of Ghana, what are my chances of showing up and finding a suitable bike? Thanks Alan |

I rode a few used Chinese bikes and found they deteriorate rapidly--connections, bolts, seals, bearings, etc. This might not matter for a few weeks use, though I'd be reluctant to get overcommited on such a bike. Hope that helps. Mark |

Ghana bike
Hi Mark
Thanks for that. That's the bikle sorted ... Do you know what documentation is required to legally ride a bike in Ghana and how long it may take for me to get it? Would this be the same for both new and secondhand? Any info would be very useful. Alan |
