HONDA XR650L FOR SALE UK

HONDA XR65OL FOR SALE for 1450 british pounds.

Bike in very good condition. Selling it because planned trip postponed for year and looking to buy a KTM adventure.
Bike is registered in 1998 and MOT till September 2006. She’s got 21500 ml on the clock.
I bought the bike in September 2005 and used it to drive to work and back and visiting my girlfriend. I did about a 1000ml with it and did not have a single problem.
The bike comes with a few things:
- Hand guards
- Givi windscreen
- KTM front shock protectors
- Made a rear shock protector
- Dakar high renthal bar
- Aliminuim engine guard
- Small toolbox
- 26 litre accerbis fuel tank

I have also just serviced the bike, new oil filter, new oil and oil seal on oil filter cover and new inline petrol filter. I have also adjusted the valve clearance and replaced the brake fluid in the front and back. Also going with the bike is manual, 2 spare rear tires, oxford chain and lock and bike cover.
The only problems as far as I know on the bike is that the fuel taps on the tank does not work (fitted with 2, one on each side) and the cover on the front sprocket is cracked. I bought the bike with these problems but haven’t had the time to fix them.

The bike is in central London and is available immediately.

Put your image on an accessible web site or server and then use vB code where ?????? in the example below is the address of your image.
http://www.?????.com/images/nameofyourfile.jpg
This example assumes you are using a jpeg image in a folder named "images".

Use the appropriate vB URL tag then type the full link and finish with the correct URL tag to activate the hyperlink. See more about this here: http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hubb/misc.php?do=bbcode

Can you email me? I can't seem to email a personal message as I haven't enough posts (and it's late and I can't be bothered to read through the fine print in the how to use section - apologies for being lazy). Also, what is the seat height? I was trying to find some specs on it and it says it's 950mm high but only 146kg.

The registration papers says that it is a '98 but the guy I bought it from thought it was a '93 model. The bike is in a very good condition if it was a 93 so I do not know the exact age off the bike.
Re-ajusted the valves again after talking to a few people and since then I have not had any problems. Suspected that I may have done it wrong because I was in a bit of a hurry and it was getting dark.
Sorry to hear about yours! Can't think of mine getting stolen at this stage. They have tried before but luckily they could not brake the chain or move it out the gate.
Bike is still available if you whant to have a look. Have someone coming this week and if it does not go I am going to advertise it in the autotrader.Just mail me and we will take it from there.
Cheers

there is a spec sheet here for the 98 model:

http://www.motorsports-network.com/H...XR650L%20Specs

it states 940mm seat height (37inches) and weight of 147 kgs (324 lbs).

saw somewhere that the seat for a 98 model should have black writing, but apart from that they look pretty similar so not too sure.
