Honda NX4 Falcon, Chile, Late November
Bike has had no mechanical problems (besides a broken clutch cable the day after i bought it). Has panniers and a windshield. Papeles al dia (all paperwork in good order). Currently got around 38 000km and would expect another 3000 before we get back to Santiago.
The bike has had 2 full services since we bought it, including new tyres 1000km ago and a new chain about 2000km ago. I can also negotiate throwing in my basic tools, spare spark plug, clutch cable, lubricants and tyre repair kit etc. Want US$4200. For those in countries which have low tax rates this might seem expensive but for South America it is a good deal. Check out chileautos.cl for some comparisons. This bike suits someone who wants to do things legally, i.e not photoshopping someone else's paperwork and running without insurance. I can help to get all the paperwork done easily in Chile, including getting you a RUT etc. btw if anyone wants advice on this stuff, even if not interested in this bike specifically, message me and i'll be happy to try and help. Interested in discussing your bike and travels
Gday Mitch,
I'm ariving in Santiago 27th October. Was planning to buy a XR 250 (legally) simply due to greater choice on Chileauto.cl and perhaps easier resale. Also my personal insurance only covers me for that sized bike. However would certainly like to talk about possibility of buying your bike and of course your travel experience over a  or two (my shout by the way !)
