FS: LC4 Adventure, in Texas, nicely equipped...
Hi Folks. Arch here, admin over at ADVrider, noob over here!
Dropping by to mention a nice adventure scoot that I'm reluctantly offering up for sale. 2001 LC4 Adventure Upgrades/extras include... KTM Factory Rally racing tank/bash-plate KTM Roadbook mount KTM Comfort seat KTM Tankbag (Wolfman pictured) KTM Tool carrier KTM SXC muffler w/jetting choices KTM S-pipe (replaces pre-muffler) KTM open airbox side cover KTM sidestand kit KTM slimmer rear fender KTM hand guards KTM Factory LC4 shop manual Enduro Engineering GPS crossbar mount All stock owners/suspension/parts manuals Acerbis frame guards Magura Hydraulic clutch kit Oberg Sports handlebar vibe dampeners Two sets of gearing (stock & tall) Line-X bedliner tank protection on tank & mask Pirelli MT21s with maybe 40% use left All stock parts boxed and included I've long kept a variety of bikes around to be used for different purposes and this one's always been towed to where the riding suits it, so it's only showing just under 4600 miles on the clock. Mainly Big Bend/West Texas desert mountain stuff, along with a few Rocky Mountain adventures. It's been properly maintained, has never missed a lick and has no known current mechanical issues. Has the cool TT IMO that went away on later year models. Prewired for Garmin 276C and tender/heated-jacket. No disappointments cosmetically, either, just your usual minor dual-sport scuffs. No sun fading, sits in a climate controlled garage, etc, etc. Why am I selling? Well, I've just had back surgery, the docs want me off the dirt for up to a year, and I'm not currently working. So I've been downsizing for about a year now and am down to my four favorite scoots. It's a tough choice between offering up the Adventure or my dual-sported 525EXC, but keeping the latter leaves me with something to use for singletrack and light adventure stuff when I'm able to ride again. 'Course, depending on how things go, I may end up offering up the EXC, too. ![]() Anyway, I'm asking $6,000 for all of the above and am not looking to part anything out. Given the mileage/condition of the bike, all the extras included, and especially my trepidation about selling it to begin with, I'm firm on the price for now. It's located in Texas and I can personally deliver most anywhere (buyer will need to unload) for minimal expenses and some pennies for truck wear & tear, say about 50 cents a mile each way. I'm not yet physically able to give it the full detail treatment it deserves, so you'll have to settle for these semi-clean driveway pics from a while back... ![]() ![]() Thanks for looking!
