FS: BMW F650 Dakar, Argentina, March 2012

Hi all,

I'm riding my f650 dakar from Bogota to Buenos Aires. Currently in Bolivia but should be in BA in March.

The bike:

Details of the bike:
Make: BMW
Model: F650 GS GD (Dakar)
Year: 2001
Miles: Currently 26k miles..likely 28,XXX at time of sale.
Registration: UK
Title: currently belongs to me
Service: Full service in the UK in Nov 11 @ 24k miles
Oil: changed / will change every 2-3k miles
Condition: so far all in great condition except for a couple small tears in the seat cover.
Tyres: Continental, brand new as at 28/12/11

Equipment:
Touratech Chain Guard
Touratech luggage rack
Touratech engine bash guard
Givi pannier rack
Aluminium panniers
BMW tool kit, plus a few extras (chain tool, tyre levers, pump etc etc)
Spare tubes, nuts/bolts, bulbs, oil filters

Optional Equipment (not included in below price):
Garmin Zumo 550 with both Garmin and Open street maps for South America
Autocom pro intercom system with 2 headsets

F650 Dakars are built for adventure travel, and are really so reliable. I've had no problems and have driven up to 4,600m. A common problem with F650's is that the coolant pump breaks around 20-25k miles, but I had this replaced at 23k.

I'm from the UK, and flew the bike over, so this is her first real adventure. All papers are from the UK, so if you have a UK address it will be really easy to transfer the title. If not there are a few ways around this.

Looking for $5,500 USD

The timing and place of sale are flexible. Please email me on joe.hall.mail@gmail.com.

Cheers,
Joe
