FS: 1989 Honda Transalp in San Francisco, CA USA
I am selling my trusty Transalp. I originally bought this bike in March 2004 with 15k miles and have put the remainder of the miles on the bike while traveling. Its in great shape and runs as well as the day I bought it. I have maintained it well over the three years I have owned it and it has been super reliable and has never let me down. This TA is loaded with accessories, including custom suspension, full crash guards and a set of Happy Trails Aluminum Panniers. I am also including a full set of spare cables, tire tubes, CDI, etc, so you will be covered for just about anything.
If you are looking for a super reliable bike which can go just about anywhere on the planet at a good price, the Transalp is tough to beat. This is one of the very top world travel bikes. Gets 50mpg on the street and is great in the dirt. With all the accessories and spares on this bike, its perfect for that Alaska trip or a ride to Mexico/South America or beyond. I am asking $3200 with all of the accessories listed above, if you don’t want the Wilbers Rear Shock, I will knock $200 off the price, so $3000 total. I am not willing to sell the above accessories separately, everything goes as one package. I am best contacted via email on my profile or by phone at 415-568-5288.
