Euromot GXT200 for sale in Bogota, Colombia
Hi all,
I'll be arriving in Bogota about 10 days from now and it will be time to sell my bike. A 2009 Euromot GXT200, Chilean plates, it will have about 14,000 km on it by then. And all i want for it is US$950. ![]() The bike's a copy of the Suzuki DR200 and apparently one of the better quality Chinese copies! It's been pretty reliable for me over the last 10,000kms anyway. Only 200cc but it seems happy to cruise at 110km/h (i fitted a larger front sprocket) and top speed of an indicated 140. I can vouch for it running fine up to 4500m - crossing the Andes was no problem. It's been serviced regularly on the road, has recent chain and sprockets, and those tyres in the pic will be fitted tomorrow, so they should all still have plenty of life left in them when I get to Colombia. Cosmetically, it's about as you would expect after travelling across South America - a few scratches and scrapes, but nothing major. And as you can see in the pic, no panniers but it has a decent rack that can carry a lot of stuff! If you're heading down to Chile eventually I'm pretty sure yoú'd get your money back on this, even with the extra mileage. When I was looking (just over 2 months ago) I didn't see any up for less than $650k pesos - about 1260 USD. And I understand the system there now, so would be able to sort you out with all the docs you'd need to be able to sell the bike, and to get it across borders until you do so. For an extra $150 I'd throw in all my riding gear, tools and maps - basically everything you need to get on the road. Thanks for reading Nick Last edited by nickzx6; 13 Apr 2010 at 03:36. |

Great bike
Hi there,
I can definitely vouch for those little bikes. Three of us just finished touring to patigonia from Santiago. No problems whatsoever and plenty of grunt, even fully laden with touring gear. I'd be interested in buying it myself if I. Didn't have the old ball and chain with me now. |

Thanks petja.
I actually sold this bike yesterday so no longer available (am i supposed to edit the title or delete the thread now?), but if anyone else is thinking of getting one of these, I was really impressed by it. Wasn't expecting too much considering how cheap they are, but it handled everything I threw at it for 12000km with barely a complaint |

Bike for sale again
I have brought this very bike to Southern Ecuador, a place called Vilcabamba in the mountains with no problems. I have run out of time however and need to sell it soon. I am looking for $900 for bike plus all equipment (being tools and clothing). If you are interested please either come to Vilcabamba and ask for Pete at Hosteria Izcayluma bar (nice place to chill out for a few days anyway) or e-mail me on lil_stoned@hotmail.com. Thanks all x
