The most difficult will be to get a numberplate for you, but if you have a main adress in Austria where you live it is no problem!

But i do not know the price at the moment!

We allways order the bike and wait most of time up to 6 month because they are sold out, but may be this changed in the last 18 month (but i do not think so).

If you want more information i can look it up (because i travel in southamerica at the moment) or ask my brother, because he is in Austria at the moment!

Good luck, Appie!

If buying new or newly new in the EU, you will probably have to pay Customs duties and/or VAT. Last I heard was that the bike needed to be over 6 months old & have covered more than 6,000km although this may have changed in recent years. Go to your local DVLA office to enquire.

Buy a second hand bike in Germany or Austria?

Steve is that the same for the UK to own a bike for atleast 6 months before exporting and obviously paid in full? Anybody got news on a launch for 2006 adv models and if theres any 2005 models left?
