BMW G650 X Country - UK - Reduced to £3299

2007 BMW G650 X COUNTRY - £3299

20000 miles, Taxed until Feb 2012 and MOT'd until May 12th 2012. This bike has the Rotax engine in and not the Chinese BMW engine fitted, new sprockets front and rear. It has the X Challenge 21" & 18" wheels for better off road handling. This bike only weighs 145kg and has 58 BHP, so the power to weight ratio is great. This bike has no dents or dings, plus the exhaust has no damage, but there is a slight mark where one of my socks melted onto the silencer. Unlike the X Challenge, this has a really comfy seat and does not have the crap air bag rear suspension.

It has standard ABS, which can be switched off. Fitted is a Scheffelmeier Bashplate and case saver, which is far superior than the Touratech one and more expensive! As it actually protects the rear of the engine. Touratech handguards fitted and a black perspex headlight wind visor. The rear end has been tidied and a flexi number plate fitted. The lower mudguard, rear pegs and full size number plate are also going with the bike. It had an oil and filter change 150 miles ago and comes with 2 spare engine oil filters. I have only taken this off road twice, hence why it's still in good nick. It's currently shod with Pirelli MT21's that have done 500 miles on the road. There are heavy duty tubes fitted to the wheels as well. If you are short in the leg like me, then this is also ideal as I am only a 29" inside leg.

Personally if I was keeping it, I'd stick on a lighter exhaust and stick some better front forks on.

Bike is located near Jct 27 of M5 in Devon(Tiverton). If you would like to view it then please call me on 07989 382890

Harty, if you are looking for a seriously good 950 look at Pattas 950 S advertised on this site - one owner from new - I know the bike well myself as it was in the shop when I bought mine and I have been on many rides out with Patta - its in good nick and has good modifications. It rides well ( I have ridden it ). It is tall its the full spec s model from 2003 but the height really is just a confidence thing and gives you far better ground clearance and suspension travel - if your doing a big trip. My 950 was standard height - and to be honest the extra height of the S will be no more challenging once you get used to the KTM as they are all tall bikes in any case. If the time was different and I was not financing an HPN build BMW then I would be buying your bike for myself.
tchus. Jake.
