Bike wanted-three month trip in Europe. (France, Greece, Turkey)

Hello all-
Girlfriend and I will be coming into Europe on March 22 for three months. Will be working for a month in France, then moving on to Greece and Turkey for site seeing. Would be fantastic to get out and do it on a bike. Have looked at rental sites but this doesn't fit our budget as we just graduated from college and just looking to have a wonderful cheaply inspired trip seeing as much as possible! Have done this once before and worked out nicely borrowing a bike. Would be willing to buy a cheap scooter or motorcycle however with budget restraints and issues registering the bike it is not what we want. We would love to find someone that we could borrow another bike from. Would be willing to work out a deal and do a rental kind of thing paying a fee to use it for several months. We will be flying in London, making our way to France where we will be volunteering for the month, and as I said on to Greece and Turkey. Would be nice to find the bike somewhere around that route prior to getting to Greece or somewhere in the mainland. Let me know if anyone has anything available. Email is best. Would love to work something out!
Thanks,
Nathan

I think I will be best and cheapest for you to buy a 125cc bike on ebay in London. You can buy an OK bike that has MOT and tax. All you need is to insure it.

You can do all this online and it should cost you way less than 1000 pounds. Than the same bike is worth much more in the Turkey where you can sell it and make some money back.

I have done similar think in the past, and it is worked out OK for me.

As suggested you might consider buying a bike in the UK, it is no problem to register it here as a foreigner, all you need is an address. Even £500 about $750 will get you something with an m.o.t. ticket, that is the annual condition check on vehicles over 3 years old and road tax which is self explanatory. You will need to arrange insurance which will usually cover you for all of the EU, check before buying.
This should get you a 400-500cc bike that is about 10-15 years old and a bit scruffy or something newer if you are happy with smaller.

you can't sell it in turkey.

you can't sell it in turkey because it's stamped on your passport page. You also need carnet and insurance.(can be bought on entrance border)
If you leave turkey without it, your punishment wil be sent to the authorities who has given you the passport after the staying time of the bike expires.so
you will get another punishment from your government too.
Better to hire one in greece and one in turkey. here you can hire 125 cc.
60 euros a day, 250 cc 80 euros 500 80-90 euros a day including insurance so no paper works.
wish you all the best.

Thanks for the responses. Found a good site in France. Trying to find a cheap bike to go two up. As I said if someone is willing to work out some kind of agreement that would be ideal as we wouldn't have to worry about getting the bike registered.
