Bike needed for Western Europe trip
Hello-
My girlfriend and I will be flying to London from the US on May 17, 2007 for a month long trip through Western Europe. Sense I'm not a resident I will not be able to buy a bike and register it in my name. We want to stay away from renting because of the high prices. What we are looking for is more of a bike swap kind of thing. You would be more than welcome to use my bike if you ever wanted to tour the states. I thought if anyone wanted to help us out we could make some kind of arrangements. Please let me know if you have any suggestions, ideas, or a bike to let us use. Thank you, Nathan

i did it in 2005
have a scour of ebay bikes are cheap as chips on there,i got mine for a 1000 pounds and got insurance no problem just find someone on here for an address ,my mate tim would let you use his ,i had my bike presold on this very forum(thanks ) i got back rode to his house grabbed the cash and caught the train to the airport ,too easy

Got a 1992 R10GS for sale for £1,850, don't think you'll find anything similar with full luggage for that price. Cheap insurance & shaft drive a plus.
