3aj gears and pump
Hi everyone, i need help, i bought a 89 3aj for a trip from london to oz, three weeks into owning the bike the engine went,i had the engine rebored, new piston, rings guegeon pin, valve springs,and camchain. I've just started looking for the cause of the problem and i have stripped the engine all the way down and found something that i did'nt want to see. All my gears have worn and chipped away, which has sent filings into the oil pump. Anyone out there got an old knackered 3aj engine with good gears and oil pump.
