[B]1 Yamaha Supertenere 750, year 1992, 43'000km, fully equiped to travel,3000 US Dollars
1 Yamaha Supertenere 750, year 1991, 48'000km, fully equiped to travel, 3000 US Dollars !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The Superteneres are sold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1 BMW 1150 GS, year 2001, 27'000km fully equiped to travel, 12'000 US Dollars still aviable We have travelled Southamerica on our motorbikes for the last 9 months and had now a very good opportunity to buy a sailboat here in Mexico. So we have decided to leave our bikes with our Swiss friend who owns a small hotel in Puerto Eten, Chiclayo Peru. The bikes are stored in his garage. More detailed information about the bikes. We have modificated both bikes for our travel. Both have strenghten frames and strenghten strut sections (each side), they both have a special fixing for each 2 rear Aluminium boxes. The original cockpit has been removed totally and we had our instruments directly on the stearing bar. On the Supertenere 1992 there is a small fridge in the lefthand box that runs with the battery. We always have used motul oil 5100 (changed every 5000 miles), but to store them now we have put in some normal car oil, so that would need to be changed. Same for the tanks (each 30l including spare = approx. 500km per full tank), they now have a little bit of oil in there to store them, so they need to be washed out. Both bikes have the right nozzles to climb up to 5000m above sea level. Bikes are both in a fair condition. BMW looks very good, like new. He just did a few tousend km in Southamerica. He has to sold it because breaking the travall for privat issues Location: Puerto Eten close to Chiclayo, Peru Bikes are all initially imported from Switzerland And some Photos: https://picasaweb.google.com/martinv...eat=directlink If you like to have more information please contact me on flachschieberli@chopper-club.ch Ciao Flachschieberli Last edited by Flachschieberli; 23 Dec 2011 at 15:13.
