2006 - 650cc Kawaskai KLR - 2006 - 650cc Kawaskai KLR

2006 - 650cc Kawaskai KLR

Why spend a few thousand dollars and tons of time to get your KLR ready for a road trip when I have already done it for you? Everything has already been done to this bike to make it ready to ride across the US or across the world. I am in Fort Myers FL but could deliver it if you call soon enough anywhere between here and Cabool MO. 2006 KLR with 30K miles, have run synthetic Amsoil and changed every 5K miles and it gets 50 MPG! Thousands of $ worth of extras including Wolf tank bag and panniers, Corbin seat, large aluminum travel panniers, military sealed battery, crash bars, Acerbis hand protectors, big foot kick stand foot, center stand, center skid pan, tall wind shield, thorn resistant tubes and green goop, electrically heated riding jacket, new chain and sprockets, valves adjusted, permanent air cleaner and oil filter, "ickey" updated, clutch, kickstand & start switches are bypassed, GPS bracket, turn signal buzzer, magnetic drain plug, repair manuals, 2 helmets, motorcycle cover, custom tool kit and tool box, super duty ratchet straps to tie it down, LED red tail light, super heavy cable and lock to secure it, and too much more to list. see it here on craiglist: 2006 Kawasaki 650 cc KLR - dual sport

The only thing wrong with it is the seat seam has come apart and is taped over, and a small weld on the aluminum pannier cover is cracked but not an issue really. The only thing that I might do to it would be to strengthen the springs all the way around.

This big was well maintained and has everything that you can imagine already done to it and will serve you well too.

This bike would cost you at least $9,000 to reproduce -- $3200 or best offer.

Hey Dylan,
It's too cold for me to do that this time of year. But you might consider:
There are companies that ship cars and motorcycles across country by flat bed. Perhaps that would be an option.

I could make sure it gets on the truck at this end.

Joe

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events (22 this year!); we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, the HUBB or to receive the e-zine. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
