Hello Everyone,
I am selling my 2005 KLR 650 here in Bogota, Colombia. It has 30,000 KMs. I have driven it down from California. The price for everything is $3000. I have just put a new Michellin tire on the back, new battery, new front and rear brakes, new rear and front sprockets, and new chain. The moto comes with an excellent, very secure Caribou-Pelican case on the back and two soft saddle bags, as well as two helmets. It has a great aftermarket exhaust system that roars, larger windshield to protect against wind fatigue, and a steel braided break line that adds a lot more force to the front breaks. This has been a great and dependable motorcycle for my whole trip down here and I am very sad to see it go. I am going back to University in California this summer and I have no time to drive it back up. My flight back is the 8th of June, so I would like to get it sold before then, but I can definitely make arrangements to sell it after that date. As for the paper work it is an extremely easy process that I have seen done before and that only requires signing over the title, because it is from California it is totally legal to bring the bike back if you want to drive it up to the states. Email me or call me if you want an explanation of the easy process of signing it over. The only problem is that due to a law here in Colombian I can“t sell it to a Colombian. I only can sell it to another foreigner. If you are interested email me at Stewartalsopiii@gmail.com. If you are here in Bogota or want to skype me my cell phone number is 321 477 3612. Look forward to hearing from you, Stewart Alsop |

Selling KLR 650 in Venezuela
Hi Guys,
Im selling a 2008 with 50 000km in Venezuela or colombia. Tim, how did the sale process work in terms of documentation? What did you have to do to transfer the bike to your name while assuring that the original owner could leave the country without any trouble? Andy O |
