I am a British citizen with a US registered Honda XR650L. I have taken 4Months to ride from Los Angeles (where the bike is registered with the DMV – Department of Motor Vehicles) and completed my trip Rio De Janeiro before heading home to the UK mid-August 2011.
Ultimately l would love to keep this bike, it came from a perfect 1st owner in southern California and it would be great to keep it as its such a super bike. A perfect bike, thumper of an engine and it will be shame to see it go!!! However, it would also be better to sell it and let somebody have the pleasure of potentially riding this bike back to California or enjoying weekends in Brazil - the choice is yours.....
l have really looked after this bike the last few months from regular oil changes, filters etc through to general maintenance....it does not miss a beat and starts firstime, everytime....

The bike is currently in storage in Sao Paulo (Brazil) and a close friend has the keys and everything for a seamless handover..
I originally bought the bike from London via Skype, l was so jacked with the job last November 2010 that the bike trip had to be for real and the London office history. The guy l purchased it from delivered it to a storage unit near his home in south LA and then l collected some 3-4months later. So there is also the option of leaving this bike in storage for the next rider with cash or deposits upfront.....
It would be perfect to sell this to a Brit or American that wants to complete a cool journey North and head home or weekends for Brazilian playtime. If you are non-US, then you will need a US address so that the bike can be registered in the US and you have the correct ownership document to cross borders. I have everything with me for handover....and all the bikes history...
