2002 RD07a Africa Twin with Aluminium Luggage (Ireland)
2002 RD07a Africa Twin
Red White and Blue Colour 47k miles Extras: Scott Oiler Touring Kit Remus Exhaust Centre Stand PowderBronze Tall Screen Handguards (Touratech) Gel Seat Dyna Battery Monitor Facet Fuel Pump Engine Bars Aluminium Engine Guard (RuggedRoads) Aluminium Chain Guard (RuggedRoads) Aluminium Brake Resevoir Guard (RuggedRoads) Aluminium Fuel Pump Guard (RuggedRoads) Aluminium Radiator Guards (RuggedRoads) Aluminium Exhaust Guard (RuggedRoads) Aluminium Toureg Stramped Rack Extension (RuggedRoads) 2 x 12V sockets (1 on dash, 1 under seat) Heated Grips (Motrax) Powder coated Aluminium Paniers (ArdCase) Maintenance Info: Full Service History Maintained originally by garages but previous owner and I have done recent servicing but all parts / receipts / work done are documented Serviced every 3.5k since I bought the bike in 2008 when it had 32k miles on the clock The front and rear wheel bearings were changed in September 2009 in preparation for a long road trip. Spares: Rear TKC Tire (about 50% tread depth left) Original Rack Original Screen Clutch Cable Bad Points: There are some scratches (some are deep) and cracks on the plastic panels and the right hand panel has a large crack (you can see it in the picture). There is a crack in the powder bronze screen however the original screen is included and is in tact. The engine paint is cracked and flaking in a couple of places. The heated grips could do with replacement, they are getting old and don't give even heat between the two grips. There is a dent in the engine pan. Front Tyre on the bike needs replacement soon. I have owned the bike for 2 years and I'm reluctant to sell it but it isn't feasible for me to run a bike this year. It has been a really solid, reliable bike for me and I never had any issues with it. The bike has been maintained and serviced regularly using only top quality fluids and parts, not cheap replicata parts. The bike has been used for touring in europe and some green laning in the 2 years I have had it. Currently the bike is UK registered because I bought it when I was living in the UK, but I am now spending the majority of my time in Ireland and I brought the bike to Dublin, Ireland a couple of months ago. Price: €3,000 or GBP£2,500 |
