2002 Honda XR650L overlander in London, UK

Are you looking for a long-range overlander with REAL off-road ability? If you're thinking of Africa, don't struggle with an ill-handling, overloaded monster!
Honda's XR650L combines the grunt and reliability of the Dominator with the chassis of the XR600. And that was just the starting point in 2002 ...

Now equipped with 45 litres main tank, this bike can do 900+km! The suspension was developed in the sahara and on a motocross track so that, even with full luggage, it handles the toughest terrain superbly. All day long!

Just back from Africa, the bike is for sale with ...
- 35 litre Touratech panniers on Overland Solutions racks
- ruggedised Garmin Etrex and Touratech mount and power supply
- kick-start back-up even though its a Honda and never needs it
- 2-man dome tent which (folded!) sits on the front mudguard and still allows full lock
- new tyres, sensible spares and workshop manuals

Having done 35,000km in 2 big trips to Africa, it has just had a full overhaul and the only remedial action was a rebore!

To build such a well sorted bike from new would cost £7,000 and many, many hours of development effort. With that in mind, I'm looking for £4,000 ONO to help you bring your travel dreams one step closer to fulfilment!

I'm based in London, but working in Bristol so call me to arrange a viewing in either city.
May your travels be as trouble free as mine!
