2002 Aprilia Caponord -excellent Miami, Florida
Well taken care bike in Miami - Florida
REDUCED TO $4,500 21,700 Miles, yearly serviced & personally maintained (oil, fluids, etc.) I bought this motorcycle with 17k to a previous owner who really took care of the bike. I just loved but move make me sell it. The price and quality is far beyond good compare to a KLR or V-STROM . It has a trip from New Orleans to Miami when I bought it, other to Tampa and back this weekend and some commuting. Always good response, just love this bike. This is a real solid Italian bike on off road machine, 1000 cc, 2 cyl. 2 sparks/cyl. , a lot of power. Rotax engine, high rpm technology found on KTM and BMW rotax quality engines. Italian and refinement design just found on europeans bikes. Very comfortable on long range trips. NEVER A PROBLEM EXCEPT FOR ONE OF THE FUEL CONNECTOR WHICH I REPLACED by METAL type. This was a recall problem easy solved The bike is always garaged at home and work, PLASTIC AND METALS AS NEW, NO RUST, NO DENTS. Extras on the bike: (around $1,500 installed). * 2 windshields & deflector, as new clear condition, no scratches. * Factory center stand * H&Becker tubular protection * H&Becker plate for rear back pack * Givi 'E' series frame for panniers, ready to install. * Tank bag (aprilia original) * Several spare screws, aprilia tools, owner's manual, service documentation, Title on hand. Recent works/maintenace (CURRENT 21,700 MILES): Mobil 1 last change at 20k miles. K&N air filter new installed at 20k miles Metal fuel connectors replaced at 19K miles (have complete spare set) * Fluids purged and replaced (clutch and brakes) * Tires Pirelli Scorpio Front at 85% good Rear at 50% good * Brake pads Front : good Rear : time to replace Chain : Good but soon a change is recommended no wear on sprockets teeth The bike is in excellent ' as new look' condition, never down or hit. Photos were take last year and others recently this year. Bike never been on real off road, some on decent trails. SEE PHOTOS AT : http://www.flickr.com/photos/sameric...7624134285143/ OR http://www.flickr.com/photos/sameric...34285143/show/ Reasons for sale : Selling my assets (SAILBOAT-BIKE-CARS). This is a good opportunity for somebody going out of Miami to S. America on a long adventure trip, which I have lot of experience on and can help on transporting and shipping. I am currently living in Ecuador and am planning a trip south later this year. What is the ballpark cost for shipping from Miami to EC?

To Kyle
I did sent you an email.
To everybody, I can help to ship the bike from Miami everywhere in South America. Prefered ports, Cartagena, Guayaquil, Lima, and any port of Chile, Arica, Iquique, Valparaiso and San Antonio (1 hour from Santiago). Have in mind, in about a week I will be promoting a few container shipments w/bikes to Peru and Chile beginning October (Peru) and January, February and March (to Chile). The ball park cost per bike will be $800 dollars (one way) for bikes just shipped and $2500 both ways shipment after 15 days touring. The home base is Miami (my home). Gaston |
