2 USA KLR 650 in SPAIN, for THE LONG WAY ROUND OR DOWN !

Hey Guys,

I just finished my trip from Vladivostok to Barcelona, Spain. I'm selling my USA KLR 650 2007 motorbike. The bike was new when I started and now it has near 11,000 miles on it. It's in perfect shape and ready to go. The picture is in Turkey and my girlfriend IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THE BIKE ! It is in a town 80 kmts away from Barcelona in Spain. You only need a set of tires ( the ones it has will last maybe for 2,000 or 3,000 miles) and your tools...I'm including some spare parts :

All of this is installed on the bike ( the number is the price in US dollars ) :

245 pannier mounts
308 panniers
84 skid plate
79 engine guard
129 tank guards
133 sealed battery
19 cigarette lighter handlebar mount
46 k&n filter
78 windshield
44 tank bag
63 tank guard bags
47 doohickey
12 rotor bolt for doohickey
36 subframe kit

All of this is inside the panniers : ( the number is the price in US dollars )

28 wheel bearings kit front and rear
10 oil filter
25 front brake pads ( also one set of rear used )
31 heavy duty shift lever
105 chain and sprockets kit
10 mirror
10 front bulb
23 tubes front and rear
24 levers ( clutch and brake )
24 clutch cable
16 speedo cable
18 throttle push cable
18 throttle pull cable

I have also a Green Card valid until 10th of September 2010.

Thanks !

P.S. : I have a Garmin Navigator and mount with Europe, Turkey and Russia maps to sale among with the bike if the buyer is interested.

P.S. 2 A friend of mine did the same trip and he has a similar bike , but 2003 year with 19.000 miles on it. This bike is for sale at the same place as mine.

My friend could sell it for usd 5,000. He already changed the transmision kit and now it has 2,000 kmts on it. His panniers are 7" wide, mine are 9". He doesn't have extra brake pads...

You can be sure that if you ship a bike, you will spend much more than this at the end...

Thanks !

Hello-
Are the bikes still for sale? My girlfriend and I will be coming to Europe for a three month trip. Looking for a bike to do it on rather than stay on the tourist train routes. My budget can't afford that much but was wandering if a possible deal could be worled out for renting the bike? Let me know.
